Quilt Preparation
All layers should be separate.
DO NOT baste or pin the layers together
A $10 fee will be charged for removing pins or basting
Quilt Tops
Clearly mark the top of the quilt
Press the quilt
No flared borders, please
Cut all loose threads
Quilt Backs
Whenever possible, piece the back with a 5/8” seam, pressed open. No selvage edges
Your batting/backing must be at least 8” longer and 8” wider than the quilt top
Please make sure your backing is square
A $15 fee will be charged if backing needs to be pieced
Quilt Batting
Batting must be at least 8” longer and 8” wider than the quilt top
If you prefer, you may purchase your batting from Canton Village Quilt Works
